Remote sensing technology is a valuable tool that is being used to monitor and evaluate agricultural row crops.  The objective of this study is to determine if multi-spectral aerial imagery can be used to monitor soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] growth and development.  Field experiments were conducted at two locations in Central Indiana in 2004 and 2005.  Three different row spacing were evaluated using multiple seeding rates and one soybean variety.  Aerial CIR imagery was obtained at theV2 through R5 growth stage and used to create numerous vegetative indices for analysis.
