Lentil Varieties for Ohio Six varieties of Lentil (Lens culinaris) were tested for adaptation to growing conditions in Southwestern Ohio. Three planting dates were tested with parts of each plot being treated with a postemergence preventive fungicide (chlorothalonil). Climatic data recorded included maximum and minimum daily temperature, rainfall and humidity. Results indicate the varieties best suited for demonstration plots in the Living Crop Museum located in Wilmington, Ohio.
