Soil Survey, High Intensity Soil Survey, and Site-Specific Investigations are evaluated uniquely and presented differently by soil scientists.  In this paper, the definitions and procedures for performing soil surveys, high intensity soil surveys, and site-specific soil and environmental investigations will be presented.  Emphasis will be placed on the production of high intensity soil surveys, high resolution soil surveys, and site-specific soil and environmental investigations as performed by consulting soil scientists.
