Jack Fenwick, Colorado State University, 1170 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, CO 80523-1170

The low completion rate of students enrolled in courses delivered through distance learning has concerned many educators. Four seed science and technology courses: Seed Anatomy and Identification; Seed Development and Metabolism; Purity and Analysis; and Germination and Viability were offered through distance learning. An analysis of students enrolled in these Seed Science courses will be presented. Factors contributing to the completion rate will be discussed.
