Keith Karnok, University of Georgia, Dept of Crop and Soil Sciences, Athens, GA 30602

Student centered learning and active learning are effective methods of teaching. Although these are undeniably effective methods of instruction, they are difficult to carry out in large classes. This group discussion will focus on the challenges faced when using active learning techniques in large classes.
